What is PEMF?

PEMF is a non-invasive holistic health therapy that helps promote the body's natural ability to heal. By utilizing Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields, it supercharges the body's cells, sending that energy to places that need support. This technology helps reduce recovery time after exercise, increases blood flow, promotes relaxation, and, especially in equines, provides support for their joints.

During a whole-body session, large loops are placed over the horse's back. The pulse machine is then adjusted to the animal's tolerance. After a horse shows a “sign of release” (licking, chewing, yawning, or lowering their head), the loops are moved. This process is repeated until the loops have been moved down the spine to the rump, hamstrings, down the back legs, back up to the withers, chest, down the front legs, back up to the neck, and finally ending around the head.

During more targeted sessions, the loops are placed around the problem area, where they remain for as long as is tolerable for the animal.
